Participant Funding Program

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) offers participant funding to help eligible applicants take part in CNSC processes for a specific project or matter of regulatory interest.

Applying for funding

The participant funding program involves:

  • submitting an application for a current funding opportunity
  • receiving a funding decision and, if approved, signing a contribution agreement
  • using the funding to support your participation in the CNSC process for that project
  • submitting required reports so eligible expenses can be reimbursed
