National Sealed Source Registry and Sealed Source Tracking System annual reports
The National Sealed Source Registry (NSSR) is Canada’s inventory of high-risk sealed sources. The Sealed Source Tracking System (SSTS), which is used in conjunction with the NSSR, tracks the movement of these sources within Canada. The SSTS and the NSSR were established in order to conform to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources. For more information, consult the Sealed source tracking web page.
The NSSR and SSTS annual reports provide a summary of the activities associated with the tracking of sealed sources in Canada and fulfill Canada’s commitment to the IAEA Code of Conduct.
