Webinar: Port Hope Conversion Facility licence renewal

Cameco has applied to renew its operating licence for the Port Hope Conversion Facility (PHCF). The current licence expires on February 28, 2027.

Join us for public webinars on August 18 (English) and 19 (French) to learn more.

These information sessions will provide a high-level overview to help the public understand the role of the regulator and the application currently under review. They will outline the CNSC’s review process, explain how the hearing will be conducted, and highlight opportunities for participation. A brief opportunity to ask questions will follow.

We welcome all members of the public interested in learning more about the project and the CNSC’s oversight.

The purpose of these webinars is to:

• discuss the CNSC’s licensing process
• discuss Cameco’s application to renew its operating licence for the PHCF
• answer questions from members of the public
