The information gathered from these meetings and activities will be included in the relevant Commission member documents in order to bring any valuable information directly to the Commission.
Background
The CNSC made participant funding available to:
- assist interested parties in participating in the renewed consultation process for CNL’s NSDF project
- provide new, distinctive and valuable information to the CNSC through informed and topic-specific interventions
A funding review committee (FRC) was established to review the funding application received by the CNSC’s Participant Funding Program (PFP) administrator and to make recommendations on the allocation of funding to the applicant.
On February 12, 2026, the FRC reviewed the PFP application received by the CNSC.
Participant funding decision
The CNSC carefully considered the FRC’s recommendations on the allocation of participant funding and approved the reimbursement of up to $150,176.18.
