Document History of REGDOC-2.6.4, Chemistry Control for Reactor Facilities

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) provides information on developing, implementing and maintaining a chemistry control program for a reactor facility.

Overview

This regulatory document sets out requirements and information for having a chemistry control program for all reactor facilities. The chemistry control program is essential for safe operation and is a key element in ensuring reliability of a facility’s structure.

REGDOC-2.6.4 is based on operational experience, best practices developed from currently licensed reactor facilities, and vendor design reviews. The information in this document will be updated as additional information is gathered from experience with advanced reactors and small modular reactors.
