The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) provides guidance for current and prospective licensees who intend to import or export nuclear and nuclear-related dual use items.

Overview
REGDOC-2.13.2, Import and Export, Version 3:
- sets out the CNSC’s requirements and guidance for anyone who intends to import or export nuclear and nuclear-related dual-use items, also known as controlled nuclear substances, equipment and information (these items are identified in the schedule to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Import and Export Control Regulations)
- identifies requirements and guidance for anyone who intends to export risk-significant radioactive sealed sources (Category 1 and 2 radioactive sources)
- provides information on the CNSC’s activities to verify and enforce regulatory compliance with respect to CNSC-regulated imports and exports.
