REGDOC-1.3.1, Licence Application Guide: Uranium Mines and Mills

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has developed this regulatory document to assist applicants. This guide provides clarity on the requirements and guidance for preparing an application to obtain a licence to prepare a site for and construct, operate and/or decommission a uranium mine or mill in Canada.

This regulatory document covers all phases and activities related to the licensing of uranium mines and mills, including siting, construction, operation and decommissioning phases, as well as mining, milling, and waste management activities.
