Tiffany has been working at the CNSC since 2019 and also spent 1 year with the organization in 2010.

Expertise and education

As a Program Officer in the Directorate of Advanced Reactor Technologies, Tiffany MacLellan serves as a subject matter expert in the development and delivery of the CNSC’s integrated impact assessment program. This program supports the implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the CNSC and the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada. Tiffany holds a PhD in Law and Legal Studies from Carleton University.

Roles and responsibilities

In her role, Tiffany collaborates with environmental review specialists, project officers and Indigenous engagement policy officers – working to build the processes and procedures necessary to support nuclear facilities that proceed through an integrated impact assessment.
