Application from Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) to amend its Non-Power Reactor Operating Licence for its SLOWPOKE-2 reactor and associated facilities. The proposed licence amendment would authorize SRC to decommission the facility, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Application from Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) for an exemption from a licensing requirement for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station (PNGS). The PNGS is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario in Pickering, Ontario.

OPG has requested a one-time exemption from the requirement of section 26.1 of RD-204, Certification of Persons Working at Nuclear Power Plants, which is part of the PNGS licensing basis. The requested exemption pertains to one specific worker at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station (PNGS).

Application from Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) for approval to revise the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station (DNGS) integrated improvement plan (IIP). The DNGS is located in the Municipality of Clarington, Ontario.

Application by Cameco Corporation for Commission acceptance of its revised financial guarantee for the McArthur River Operation (MRO). The MRO is located in northern Saskatchewan, approximately 620 kilometres north of Saskatoon.

Application from Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) to amend the release limits of liquid effluent (release limits) in its Waste Nuclear Substance Licence for the Port Granby Long-Term Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Project (Port Granby Project). In its application, CNL has also requested an update to the format of the amended licence to align it with the CNSC’s modernized licences. The Port Granby Project site is located in the municipality of Clarington, Ontario.

Application from Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) to replace the Waste Facility Decommissioning Licence for the Gentilly-1, Douglas Point and Nuclear Power Demonstration facilities. CNL is requesting to replace the current particular licence with three licences (one for each site), with no change to the licensed activities authorized by the Commission, and with the licence expiry date remaining the same.

Application from Nordion (Canada) Inc. to transfer its Nuclear Substance Processing Facility Operating Licence. Nordion has applied to transfer its licence to a successor corporation resulting from the amalgamation of Nordion, its direct parent company, and two other non-licensee affiliated companies. The amalgamated corporation was assigned a new corporate number, but retained the current corporate name of Nordion (Canada) Inc., address, personnel and ultimate owners
