Regulatory oversight reports on the use of nuclear substances

The use of nuclear substances is regulated by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and requires compliance with the Nuclear Safety and Control Act, CNSC regulations and licence conditions.

These reports describe the safety performance of licensees using nuclear substances in medical, industrial and commercial applications, as well as for academic and research purposes. Safety performance is measured in terms of licensees' regulatory compliance and occupational doses. The report also includes a summary or reported events and orders issued by the CNSC.
