Darlington New Nuclear Project webinar on upcoming licence renewal hearing
Join us April 20, 2021, for a webinar on the upcoming licence renewal hearing for the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP).
Ontario Power Generation intends to use the DNNP to produce up to 4,800 megawatts of baseload electricity to the Ontario grid using a maximum of 4 additional nuclear reactors. The current licence expires in August 2022. The site is located in Clarington, Ontario.
This webinar will be hosted in English. CNSC staff will make a short presentation and will be available to answer your questions.
The purpose of this webinar is to:
- highlight the CNSC’s regulatory role and oversight for this proposed project
- answer questions about this project
