The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has been informed of a recall on a small lot of flexible drive cable assemblies in Canada. Nordion Inc. has issued a voluntary recall on Teleflex cables that have a D-898B male connector crimped to one end. These cables are used in various industrial radiography devices. Nordion Inc. has identified 11 Teleflex cables that were not fully verified prior to release and shipment in Canada. Although there have been no reported issues associated with these cables, for precautionary reasons, Nordion Inc. is requiring their return for inspection.
