CNSC Signs MOU with New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization

On June 2, 2011 the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CMNSC) and the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization (NBEMO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate the sharing of information and cooperation between the two organizations.
The agreement ensures there is a clear understanding between the CNSC and NBEMO regarding each other’s role and responsibilities in the prevention, mitigation, response and recovery of a radiological or nuclear emergency affecting the Province of New Brunswick.
