Overview
This document sets out requirements and guidance for the proactive management of aging throughout the lifecycle of a nuclear power plant. It provides a framework for applying codes and standards to ensure that physical aging and obsolescence are effectively managed.
It outlines expectations for licensees in managing aging-related challenges and is part of the Fitness for Service series within the CNSC's regulatory framework.
