March 2022 – Terms of reference for long-term engagement with the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation

The Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation (MSIFN) and the CNSC signed terms of reference providing a structured forum for ongoing respectful and open dialogue regarding areas of interest on CNSC-regulated nuclear facilities and activities in the MSIFN’s traditional and treaty territories.
Respecting COVID-19 protocols, MSIFN Chief Kelly LaRocca, Councillors Laura Colwell and Jeff Forbes, and Clare Cattrysse, Director of the CNSC’s Indigenous and Stakeholder Relations Division, signed the agreement virtually in March 2022.

The agreement provides a forum of collaboration to address areas of interest regarding CNSC-regulated facilities and activities within the Curve Lake First Nation’s traditional territory.

The agreement provides a forum of collaboration to address areas of interest regarding CNSC-regulated facilities and activities within the Métis Nation of Ontario’s regions and traditional territories.
May 2019 – Terms of Reference for Long-Term Engagement With the Saugeen Ojibway Nation
The agreement provides a forum of collaboration to address areas of interest regarding CNSC-regulated facilities and activities within the Saugeen Ojibway Nation’s traditional territory.

The agreement provides a forum of collaboration to address areas of interest regarding CNSC-regulated facilities and activities within the Historic Saugeen Métis’ traditional territory.
