Description

REGDOC-2.13.1, Safeguards and Nuclear Material Accountancy, provides information for anyone who possesses nuclear material, operates a uranium and/or thorium mine, or carries out certain types of nuclear fuel-cycle related research and development or nuclear-related manufacturing activities in Canada. The requirements and guidance in this document allow Canada to meet its commitments under the safeguards agreements with the International Atomic Energy Agency and are consistent with modern national and international practices.
