Summary

The intent of this discussion paper was to seek feedback from licensees, the Canadian public and other stakeholders on proposed amendments to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Import and Export Control Regulations, along with a related change to the General Nuclear Safety and Control Regulations. This pre-consultation process feeds into the formal consultation process during which the proposed amendments will be published in the Canada Gazette, Part I for further public comment.
