Update to regulatory action issued on August 31, 2009 to Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Corporation.
On November 30, 2009 the CNSC revoked the order. This revocation was based on the corrective actions that Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Corporation have implemented and committed to, as well as the results of a compliance field inspection conducted October 28. Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Corporation has resumed normal operations under its revised safety program.

Order to Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Incorporated
On August 31, 2009, a designated officer of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission issued an order to Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Incorporated of Calgary, Alberta in accordance with section 35 of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act. The Company provides services to the oil and gas industry across Western Canada. The order requires Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Incorporated to cease the use of all use of nuclear substances that the Company is authorized to possess.
